ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
SARA FLETCHER was raised in New York, near Lake Erie. She and her one sister loved their many pets, a total of two dogs and five cats. Lavender was her favorite color. The illustrator earned her BFA in ceramic sculpture from Alfred University, a post-baccalaureate certificate from Brandeis University and her MFA in painting from the University of Iowa. She has exhibited work in Massachusetts, New York and Iowa.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
DUSTIN KELLY was born in West Union, Iowa, and raised in nearby Elkader, Iowa. He has two brothers and two sisters. Minger, a Siamese cat, lived with his family. He really liked Frank Asch's Popcorn when he was little. Kelly received his BFA in sculpture from the University of Iowa and moved to California to earn his MFA in sculpture from the California College of the Arts. He has exhibited work in California and Iowa.
